Science policy research department

  This department was founded in 2006 to develop science and technology policies in the country and to establish the grounds of cooperation between specialists and policy- makers who work in the field of science and technology policy- making.

  Research priorities

  _ To investigate science and technology policy- making evolutions in the world (systems and processes);

  _ Critical review and assessment of science and technology policy- making in Iran;

  _ To localize science and technology policies;

  - comparative analysis of successful think thanks and to extract the elements of their success.

  1. To designe a model for research and technology priority setting;

  2. To describe the foundations of Islamic-Iranian model of science and technology development according to scholars;

  3. T designe a Model for learning organization behavior in science and technology policy research context of Iran;

  4. The identification of actors of science an technology policy making in Iran;

  5. The identification of important science and technology policy research institutes;

  6. To prepare the introductory model of science and technology policy in Iran;

  7. To introduce new rules and regulations in the field of research;

  8. To determine information development concepts and to design information technology policy system in Iran;

  9. to prepare short- term document of science and technology development in the country;

  10. To study, to recognize and to analyze research status que in the country and to design favorite condition of research and to carry out comparative studies by selecting some countries ( Turkey, Japan, USA, Zionism regime, England, India, Pakistan and Malysia;
