Library

  The specialized library of NRISP is Known as a core center of information in the field of science and technology in the country. Having a range of specialized information sources including books, publications, research reports, dissertations, and CDs, the library as a core center of information providing is intent on providing services for different users. NRISP's specialized library consists of 4 sections as follows:

  a. Books section

  There are 3000 titles of Farsi books and 2500 titles of Latin books. Users can have access to books through membership to the library.

  b. References section

  This section is responsible to provide different services including data searching ( such as, printed and electronic materials and internal and external databases), to help the researchers to find documents and references.

  c. Journals section

  At present , there are 35 titles of Latin journals and 50 titles of Farsi journals.

  d. Archive

  The last year’s periodicals are maintained in this section and are accessible by the users. Moreover the center has managed to provide an appropriate database through connecting the center to databases in Iran and in the world including: Shiraz Regional Information Center for Science and Technology( full text articles database), Science Direct, Proquest, Web of Knowledge ISI, Oxford Journals, Taylor & Francis). It should be noted that according to its mission the center has tried to provide full text journals database in all of the areas of its work.
